atmost 2 means
maximum 2 cana occur i.e. 1 can occur or 2 can occur
hence sample space = {1 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}
possible event = {1, 2}
hence probability = 2/6 = 1/3

It is 2\6 because at most 2 means maximum no is 2 that means 1and2 so total outcome is 6 and favorable outcome is 2 hence 2\6 I answer please approve

dear vaidehi in the question it is written that we have to find the probability of coming atmost 2 i.e. 1 and 2
so favourable outcome is 2, and total outcome is 6 so probability will be 2/6

The answer is 2/6 as atmost 2 denotes maximum possible value is 2.Therefore the possible observations are 1 and 2.Hence, probability is 2/6=1/3
